(VOV) -Young Vietnamese golfer,Nguyen Thao My, successfully beat-out other rivals at two qualifying rounds in Thailand and has now placed at the International Junior Golf Championships 2015.
The event is scheduled to take place in the US on July 16-31.
The championships is one of the largest and best known junior golf tournaments in the world, which opens for boys at the age group of 10-11, 12-13, 14-15, 16-18 and girls at the age group of 10-12, 13-14, 15-18.
Previously, a 17 year-old girl had an impressive competition at the three-day, second qualifying round in March with a convincing victory of 75-70-74 strokes, ranking 4nd for the event age group of 15-18.
Before attending the honourable championships, Thao My and 4 other national golfers are to compete at SEA Games 28 in Singapore on June 6-12.
