Vietjet has announced that it will increase the frequency of its service between Ho Chi Minh City and Taipei to daily, from five return flights a week, to meet flourishing demand from business and leisure travelers on the route.
The increase, starting June 18, 2015, will provide passengers more options and help them to save cost. Tickets start at just VND210,000 ($10).
It takes 3 hours and 25 minutes for Vietjet’s aircraft to fly between Ho Chi Minh City and Taipei. The flight departs Ho Chi Minh City at 2:30 p.m. every day and arrives in Taipei at 6:55 p.m.(local time). The return flight leaves Taipei at 8 p.m.(local time) and arrives in Ho Chi Minh City at 10:25 p.m.
Vietjet will operate its modern aircraft on the route. Apart from that, passengers can buy duty-free souvenirs or delicious meals on board.
Currently, tickets for the flights are available at all distribution channels, including on the carrier’s website www.vietjetair.com (also compatible on smartphones), http://on.fb.me/1zyybAq (click tab “Book now”), booking center telephone number of 19001886, international or domestic airline ticket agencies. Payment can be easily made with Visa, MasterCard, JCB, American Express, and ATM cards (registered for internet banking).
Recently, Vietjet has also received the 24th Airbus A320 aircraft to expand the fleet. The carrier also announced to increase 1,500 flights to provide additional 270,000 seats at reasonable fare in order to meet the rising demand of passengers during this summer.
