Sports festival kicked off in An Giang province

PANO – Nearly 2,000 athletes from 13 provinces and cities in the Mekong Delta region and the team of Military Zone 4 under the Vietnam People’s Army took part in 25 categories of the sixth Physical Training and Sports Festival on May 18th in An Giang province.

The biennial event is part of activities of the movement “All people practising physical exercise to follow great President Ho Chi Minh” and promote the physical training movement among people to improve health.

In addition, it helps local athletes improve their professionalism and experience to get better results in coming national and regional sport tournaments.
