You have only five days left from now to join a small contest held by the Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City to win a free trip to India just by proving your knowledge of a tree.
The question is, “When was this tree planted by whom and where” (sic), the consulate general said on its website.
The tree “was planted by an Indian dignitary” as “a symbol of [Vietnam and India’s] friendship and shared Buddhist heritage,” during his Vietnam trip in 1991, the consulate general hinted.
The contest is running from March 23 to April 26, and participants are advised to send their answers, plus their full name, address and mobile number, to the organizer via Facebook messages (http://on.fb.me/1yTnHij) or email at cg.hcm@mea.gov.in.
Answers posted as Facebook comments are not accepted.
A lucky draw will be held in Ho Chi Minh City on April 27 to select the two luckiest winners to claim a round ticket to India each.
