14 teams to compete in football championship


The National Second Division Football Championship will provide three tickets to the top three teams for the next season of V-League 2, the Viet Nam Football Federation said.


Fourteen teams will take part in the championship.


They have been divided into two groups, and will compete in a two-leg, round-robin format. The top two teams of each group will advance to the final round.


The top three teams of the division will be promoted, while the team that comes last will be relegated.


The group stage of the championship will be held from April 16 to June 26, while the final will be held from July 3 to 6.


HCM City win Martial Arts Cup


The National Viet Nam Traditional Martial Arts Cup ended on Monday, March 30, with HCM City claiming the top position.

Hosts Binh Dinh came second, followed by Quang Ngai.


More than 170 martial arts fighters from 20 teams nationwide participated in both performance and combat events at the four-day competition.


Osla brand to support HAGL football team


The Osla Eye Drop brand on Monday signed a co-operation agreement in HCM City with the Hoang Anh Gia Lai football team to assist the team in the national V-League 2015 and SEA Games in June.

Under the agreement, the two sides, beginning in April, will carry out campaigns to call for fan support for U19 of the Hoang Anh Gia Lai football team. The campaigns will include forums for professionals, fanpage meetings, and activities to cheer footballers at matches.


Footballers will also receive free eye-drop products.


The Osla brand has been in Viet Nam for more than 15 years, with more than 30 million bottles sold since 1999.
