(Cinet)- To introduce Vietnamese literature to the world, the international seminar to promote the Vietnamese literature to international audiences opened on March 02 in Hanoi.
At the seminar, Vu Ngoc Hoang, vice-head of the Standing Board for the Board of Justice stated that the seminar expressed a friendship, cooperation and development. Vietnam is home to a cultural beauty up to now. To introduce Vietnamese literature to the world, th Vietnam Government established the translation center to introduce literature to the world.”
The seminar also drew international writers, poets and translators, who are interested in Vietnamese literature. It provided a chance for foreign and domestic authors to exchange and learn from each other.
Other delegates shared the same opinion that Vietnamese literature expresses the desire and love for peace of the Vietnamese people. They also appreciated the role of literature in easing pain, connecting cultures and enhancing friendship between countries.
Vietnamese literature played an important role in the success of the revolution and the country’s establishment. It also helped enrich the world’s civilized literature.
The seminar aims to offer a panoramic view of Vietnamese literature for international friends, promote the quintessence of Vietnamese literary works and look for translation opportunities.
