Talks on cultural tourism in the integration period

At Viet Star Eco-Tourism Resort (Tuy Hoa city), the Central Propaganda Department, Phu Yen Provincial People’s Committee in coordination with the Institute of Researching Oriental Development and the International Economic Cultural Exchange Club have recently held a seminar themed “Cultural tourism in the integration period”.

According to Dr. Nguyen Quoc Hung, Deputy Director of Tourism Administration, the seminar is held in the context of Vietnam tourism havingbeen rapidly and steadily developed. The traditional tourism relation between Vietnam and the Russian Federation has been effectively promoted and implemented. The Russian Federation has become one of the top tourism markets of Vietnam tourism, the number of Russian tourists travelling to Vietnam increased from 6,000 visitors in 2000 to nearly 365,000 visitors in 2014, an increase of more than 60 times.

At the seminar, scientists, managers and tourism businesses contributed to the discussions on culture and tourism relationship; the cultural diversity as an important resource for tourism development; the international culture and integration; Vietnam-Russia cultural tourism …

The discussion took place aimed at the solution of developing the tourism market for Russian tourists to Phu Yen province and the Central coastal provinces.
