Lots of tourists chosing Phu Yen province as a destination during Tet holiday

According to Phu Yen Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, during the Lunar New Year of At Mui 2015 (up to 5^th day of Tet), hundreds of thousands of tourists have come to visit the tourism destinations in Phu Yen province.

On average, over 1,000 visitors to Dia reef each day during Tet festival

In particular, the number of tourists staying at hotels is 7,760, an increase of nearly 500 people in comparison with the same period last year; the number of tourists visiting the five relics and landscapes of An Tho citadel, Dia Reef, Nhan Mountain, Mon beach-Dien cape, Vung Ro-no Number Ship is more than 10,500 visits; with the most crowded destination is Dia reef. The total number visitors to recreation areas is up to hundreds of thousands of visitor turns, a slight increase over the same period in 2014.

During this Lunar New Year, many travel agencies of VIETRAVEL, Saigon Tourist, Relax, Focus travel, Viet Fire, Chudu 24, Railways, Crickets, Fiditour, Lighthouse, Gold Sand, Viet Travel… took tourists from the cities of Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh and provinces. The selected tour destinations are the national scenic of Dia feef, Mang Lang church (Tuy An district), Mon beach – Dien cape, No Number Ship – Vung Ro monument (Dong Hoa district), Nhan Mountain (Tuy Hoa city) and a number of amusement parks, tourist spots along the beach. In the cuisine area in An Hai (Tuy An district), Binh Phu bridge (Song Cau town) and many seafood restaurants along Bach Dang street in Tuy Hoa city is bustling with diners during Tet.

The hotels from 2 stars to 5 stars are almost fully booked for the Lunar New Year’s days. The hotels most attracting tourists are Cendeluxe, Kaya, Saigon – Phu Yen, Hung Vuong, Hong Ngoc, Cong Doan, Long Beach, Hoa Anh Dao, Huong Sen Yasaka, Vinh Thuan, Si Kim, Sao Viet eco-tourism zone…

At the venues of fresh seafood cuisine along the embankment (Bach Dang street, Tuy Hoa city), An Hai bridge (Tuy An district), Binh Phu bridge (Song Cau town) are busy with visitors inside and outside the province during the Lunar New Year’s days. Ms. Quach Thi Thanh Tram (Kon Tum province) arriving at Tuy Hoa city with her family, said: “We are going to Nha Trang city, but known that Phu Yen province enjoys lots of fresh seafood, beautiful and pristine beach, so we decided to stay in Tuy Hoa city one day, one night. The fact is true. I am very happy, we will definitely come back”.

Mr. Pham Van Bay, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, let known: Before the Lunar New Year, the Department had a written request for accommodation and tourist business establishments to improve service quality, good deals for tourists, price stability … So far, we have not received any complaints from tourists about the service quality and prices during Tet holiday.
