NDO – The Spring Press Festival, which occurs every five years, opened at the Vietnam Exhibition and Fair Centre in Hanoi on February 7 in the presence of Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong. This year’s event is the largest of its kind so far with the participation of 65 media agencies nationwide hosting 120 stalls showcasing numerous publications, including spring and Lunar New Year editions.
In his opening remarks, Party Central Committee member and Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists’ Association, Thuan Huu said that the festival offers a good opportunity for participating agencies to introduce their latest technologies in press and communications while creating a venue for journalists from across the country to share professional skills.
