On February 7th, the 2015 Spring Newspaper Festival opened at the Vietnam Exhibition and FairCenter in Hanoi with the participation of Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and former leaders of the Party and State, journalists and representatives from ministries, committees and agencies. The event is being held by Vietnam Journalists’ Association in coordination with the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Party Central Committee’s Commission of Popularization and Education, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Hanoi City People’s Committee. Cutting ribbon to open the festival. (Photo source: cpv) As many of 120 booths displays spring publications from 65 central and local press agencies across the country. The publications, including magazines, printed and pictorial editions, audio and television products and online newspapers, introduce achievements that the entire Party, people and army made last year as well as plans and goals for national development. Workshops and artistic performances will take place during the event which will run until February 10th./.
