PANO – The Hanoi City’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism officially launched the 2015 Hanoi Spring Fair on February 4th at the Quan Ngua Sports Palace.
The week-long fair is one of the activities in response to the 2015 National Tourism Year, contributing to preserving and bringing into plays traditional cultural values of the 1,000-year-old Thang Long – Hanoi.
According to the organizing panel, highlights of the fair include special festivals with many interesting art works and folk games.
Besides, the fair’s 300 stalls with traditional handicraft villages’ products, and a wide range of essential commodities and food would meet people’s demands for Tet while enjoying the capital’s cultural beauties.
Tourism agencies have made use of the fair to introduce their tourism products as well as special offers for tourists while visiting their stalls.
