NDO – Four Vietnamese artists – Do Hoang Tuong, Hoang Duong Cam, Phi Phi Oanh and Richard Streitmatter-Tran – are showcasing their works of art at the Art Stage Singapore 2015, the flagship art fair of Southeast Asia, taking place from January 22 to 25.

The art fair features nearly 200 galleries on an area of 1,000 square metres with works by 32 artists from 29 countries – 70% of them from Asia-based galleries.

The event is displaying the best Asian and world contemporary art, aiming to connect the diverse art scenes in Asia and spotlight the contemporary art scenes of Southeast Asia.

One of the highlights of the fair is the Southeast Asia Platform – an exhibition arranged by Singapore curator Khim Ong, showcasing 15 emerging and established artists from the region.

Curator Khim Ong said that the contemporary art of Southeast Asia is attracting much attention from the global community, adding that more and more artists in the region have presented at large international fairs with a wide range of art works including video, installations, photography and performances.

Khim Ong also valued works of art by Vietnamese artists at this year’s Art Stage Singapore such as photos by Hoang Duong Cam and installation works by Phi Phi Oanh.
