Petrol prices are increased five times and cut nine times in 2014
NDO – The domestic retail prices of RON 92 and RON 95 petrol were cut by VND950 per litre as of 11am on the morning of November 7, the ninth consecutive cut in 2014, the Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex) has reported.
After the reduction, RON 92 petrol is priced at VND21,390 per litre while RON 95 petrol is at VND21,990 per litre.
In the meantime, the retail prices of fuel oil, diesel and kerosene were reduced by VND900, VND520 and VND360 per litre respectively.
The price of E5 RON 92 bio-gasoline was also slashed by VND950 per litre to VND21,390 per litre.
According to Petrolimex, the price cut was made due to further declines in the global fuel market.
As of early this year, petrol prices were increased five times and cut nine times with a total reduction of VND4,250 per litre. The price of diesel was decreased 15 times, totalling VND3,580 per litre and kerosene was cut 12 times, totalling VND3,250 per litre.
