Thien Nhan, a 12-year-old girl from a farming family in Binh Dinh Province won the second season of “The Voice Kids” singing contest which ended in Ho Chi Minh City on October 4.

Thien Nhan, Thien Nham and Hoang Anh amazed audiences with their talent in the final night.



Thien Nhan triumphed over her competitors with her sweet voice and creative performance in different styles and genres of music. She received a total of 49.47 percent of the votes. Hoang Anh was at second place and the third position went to Thien Nham.


The winner of ‘The Voice Kids’ received a cash prize of VND300 million. Hoang Anh and Thien Nham got cash prizes of VND55 million of each.


Aired on VTV3 Channel in June, ‘The Voice Kids’ featured contestants between the ages of 9 and 15 who participated in the qualifying round in February in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang.


The show has a standard format similar to ‘The Voice’ for adults and selects contestants after three rounds–Blind Audition, Battle, and Live.


Among the jury were singers Cam Ly, Lam Truong and the couple Ho Hoai Anh and Luu Huong Giang.
