(Source: hanoigrapevine.com) A photo exhibition on 20 years of the French Development Agency (AFD) in Vietnam will be held in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh city. Accordingly, 20 selected photos about Vietnamese people and landscapes where flagship projects have been conducted by AFD sectors will be feature at the exhibition. The projects funded by AFD aimed to improve living conditions of local people in Vietnam. The exhibition, marking the 20th anniversary of its activities in the nation, will also display the image of six outstanding projects by AFD in Vietnam such as; the management of water sources in the lower section of the Red river; improving the urban environment in Central Vietnam; improving the Yen Vien – Lao Cai railway; and the prevention of climate changes in the Mekong River delta. The exhibition will open at the L’Espace – The French Cultural Centre at 24 Trang Tien street in Hanoi, from October 27 to November 8; and at Cultural Exchange Institute with France at 31 Thai Van Lung street, district 1, Ho Chi Minh city from November 21-28./.
