(VOV) – The Vietnam Labour Brokerage Association in the Czech Republic was launched on September 13 in the presence of Vietnam Ambassador Truong Manh Son, embassy staff and representatives from more than 10 companies operating in labor brokerage in the Eastern European nation.
At the meeting, labour brokers hotly debated urgent issues and feasible solutions for bringing skilled and disciplined Vietnamese workers to the Czech labour market which is in high demand. They also discussed how best to help the Vietnamese community get updated and accurate information about the situation of the resident country and Vietnamese businesses’ operations.
“Labor brokers should have a macro vision and boost practical cooperation primarily for the benefit of employees to make Vietnamese workers strong enough to compete with those from other countries such as Ukraine, Slovakia and Poland.” Ambassador Son said.
Labour brokerage businesses also asked the Embassy to create the best possible conditions for the dispatch of Vietnamese skilled workers to the Czech labour market and Czech Republic relevant agencies to ease regulations on work permits and labour quotas for Vietnamese workers.
Son also emphasized the necessity to fine-tune operational structure of the association to create an effective mechanism helping Vietnamese workers to have easier access to the Czech labour market.
Vietnamese representatives agencies in the Czech Republic will work hand in hand with Vietnamese businesses to intensify contacts with their Czech counterparts in order to iron out snags in bringing Vietnamese employees to this market and facilitate the association’s operations, he added.
