September 03 selected as Vietnam’s annual Music Day

(Cinet)- On September 26, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has issued Decision No. 1722/QD-TTg on choosing September 03 as Viet Nam’s annual Music Day.

In his decision, the Prime Minister required an economical and efficient organisation of the commemoration and expressed hopes that the move would motivate all music industry workers to produce beautiful works and hold numerous practical musical activities that serve the public, contribute to the education of the youth and promote solidarity for national construction and defence.

The Prime Minister also expected all organisations and individuals from all social strata to take active part in developing the country’s music industry.
