Representatives visited D67 command trench



On August 12th, the Thang Long-Ha Noi Heritage Conservation Centre received more than 500 historical documents and objects related to a Communist Party of Vietnam meeting that played a decisive role in the liberation of the South and national unification.


They are documents and objects relating to the Conference of the Politburo of the 3rdCentral Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam from December 18, 1974 to January 8, 1975 at D67 command trench in the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long.


The items were donated by delegates attending the important conference. They included materials and tools the officials used in their daily working life. Among them are books and glasses used by Party General Secretary Truong Chinh, clothes, a watch, table clock, CV, bags and Party member card of Chairman of the State Council Vo Chi Cong, as well as maps, glasses and Ho Chi Minh badge belonging to General Giap.


According to the centre, these items would be showcased soon to help people learn about the historic conference as well as values of the D67.


Built in 1967, the D67 was the Headquarters of the Vietnam People’s Army during the resistance war against American invaders. It had witnessed many important meetings./.
