(Cinet)- The Viet Nam Women’s Museum and the Korean Cultural Centre will host a week of South Korean traditional culture activities from August 17-23.
In the framework of Korean Traditional Culture Week, many events will be introduced to the public including: a Korean Mask and Pungmul art exhibition (from August 17-23), Talchum and Pungmul folk dance performances (On August 17), guidingvisitors to practice TalchumdancepracticeTalchum and Pungmul folk dance (On August 17), trying on Hanbok-Korean traditional costumes (From 17-23), and enjoying Korean cuisine.
Before, on October 27, 2013, under the support of Embassy of Vietnam in Korea, the Vietnamese People’s Association in South Korea, Daejeon city government, Chungnam University and Kumho Tire Company of South Korea, successfully held the third Vietnam Culture Festival in Daejeon city. This is one of the major cultural events to mark the 21 year anniversity of establishing offriendly relationship between two countries.
Korea is known as a modern and dynamic country, with a long-standing culture preserved and developed over thousands of years of history.
Coming to this event, participants will have a chance to learn more about Korean culture which would help to further tighten relationship and development cooperation between the two countries.
