The event, held jointly by the Korean Cultural Centre in Vietnam and Vietnam’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, aims to provide a chance for Vietnamese audiences to enjoy the latest Korean films and to discover the Korean culture and people through film.
The event is expected to attract a total audience of around 2,000 for eight shows which feature two different romantic comedy films: “Catch me” and “The Plan Man”.
Korean Cultural Centre Director Park Nark Jong said “This is the first ever free outdoor film show to be held in Vietnam with the aim to give the Vietnamese audience an oppurtunity to enjoy Korean films”.
“Through the event, cultural exchange between the peoples of Vietnam and the RoK will be strengthened,” he added.
Tickets will be available for free from the Korean Culture Center at 49 Nguyen Du Street, Hanoi.
