(Cinet)- On the evening of August 12th, in Dien Bien Phu city, the Dien Bien provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held an arts performance entitled “For beloved sea and island.”
The program aims to propagandize and educate people and soldiers to increase more awareness and position of the border and island of Vietnam in the national cause of construction and protection; introduce specific cultural and traditions of ethnic minority groups in the Dien Bien province; encourage people to uphold national solidarity by participating in activities for the benefit of those living and working on the sea or islands.
By carefully preparing for the program, the audience can enjoy some interesting performances from some artists in the troupe. The event drew the participation of more than 200 artists, actors and actresses from artistic troupes from across the province.
The event also helped to improve the contributions of those people concerned with the implementation of economic development tasks in the border areas and islands and share the burden with those protecting Vietnam’s sovereignty over, border, sea and islands.
