Georgia Ruth, winner of the 2013 Welsh Music Prize, will perform in Ho Chi Minh City on Tuesday night.
Ruth, a bilingual singer, songwriter and harpist from Aberystwyth in West Wales, will perform songs from her debut album “Week of Pines” at 8:00 pm at the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music, 112 Nguyen Du, District 1.
The Guardian named her “one of the British folk discoveries of the year” after her album came out in May 2013.
Ruth’s “Week of Pines” won the 2013 Welsh Music Prize and she was nominated twice for the 2014 BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards, for “Best Traditional Track” and the “Horizons Award.”
Tickets are now available at 7 Cong Truong Lam Son, District 1.
