VietJetair launches new route connecting Hanoi – Seoul

Vietnam’s low cost flag carrier VietJet Air July 24 announced its regular flight to South Korea by launching a direct route linking the capital of Vietnam, Hanoi to Seoul.


The new route, which is being operated under a partnership with South Korea’s SEYOU Corporation, will initially be flying daily round trips between the two hubs with a capacity of 2,520 seats per week. The five-hour long flight will depart Hanoi every night at 1:45AM and arrive in Seoul at 7:55AM and depart Seoul every morning at 11:05AM and arrive in Hanoi at 2.10PM (all local times).



VietJet currently operates 27 local and international routes. In its development strategy, the airline will expand its network in the Asia-Pacific Region and also intends to launch more joint ventures with other regional airline partners.


The airline had also been operating a direct route from Danang City in Central Vietnam to Seoul since last week.
