HCM City honours 831 heroic mothers

Ho Chi Minh City local authorities presented the state title of Vietnamese Heroic Mother to 831 late mothers in the city for their sacrifices to the national independence.

The recognition came on the occasion of the 67 th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27).

The Party, State and entire nation have always respected and honoured those who made dedications to the nation. Their sacrifices are a noble deed and an invaluable and everlasting spiritual asset of our nation, said Deputy Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Le Thanh Liem at a ceremony in Cu Chi district on July 27.-VNA
