The Grammy Award-winning Pacific Boychoir from US will travel to Vietnam to perform in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh city from July 9 -18.

The American artists will participate in an outreach event at Vinh Phuc Social Services Center near Hanoi. The event will include a performance, a visit of the facility and time to play with the local children. Known for its rich sound, the Pacific Boychoir is preparing a diverse and exciting repertoire that ranges from Haydn’s Gloria and Handel’s Hallelujah Chorus to the Beatles’ Here Comes the Sun, and Paul Simon’s Bridge Over Troubled Water, arranged by Kirby Shaw. The choir will also learn two traditional Vietnamese songs, which will both be featured with the locally renowned Sol Art Choir of Hanoi.

Concerts will begin on July 12 at Ho Chi Minh city Conservatory Concert Hall (8:00 pm, free entrance), and on July 14 at Hoi An Sculpture Garden (8:00 pm, free entrance).

On July 16, at Worker Theater (No 42 Trang Tien street, Hanoi), they are expected to perform with Sol Art Choir at 8:00 pm. Tickets for Hanoi performance are available at Worker Theater or can book online at http://bit.ly/1rQfCp9.
