“Vietnam Cultural Days in Russia” opens

(Cinet)- The “Vietnamese Cultural Days in Russia ” opened at Union Building, in Moscow city, on June 25.

Co-organized by International Cooperation Department (MOCST), VietnamNational MusicSong andDance Theatre, Cinema Department, Vietnam Culture and Art Institute, Vietnam Arts Museum, the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, sports, General Department of Sports and Physical Training and relative units.

At the opening ceremony, Vietnam Group performed special traditional music and dance, Vovinam martial arts performance and traditional fashion show. In the framework of the event, many cultural and tourism activities will be held such as: exhibition on Vietnamese lacquer painting, Vietnam Film Days in Russia and seminars on cultural, art cooperation between Vietnam and Russia.

The event is part of the regular cultural cooperation between Vietnam and Russia, which will offer a chance for people of both sides to get a deeper understanding of each other’s cultural identity and artistic beauty.
