(Cinet)- The Francophone and UNESCO have sent diplomatic notes to Vietnam mission expressing deep concern about recent tension in the East Sea.
In a diplomatic note on June 06 showed that the French speaking community received the diplomatic note on May 15 and Memorandum about the East Sea situation. Therefore, the diplomatic note expressed deep concern on the situation in the East Seaand called for some relevant sides to keep their spirit and solve some problems in a peaceful way.
Earlier, the UNESCO sent the Diplomatic Note to Delegation of Vietnam.
In the Diplomatic Note, the UNESCO stated that the UNESCO and the UN expressed tension in the East Sea to solve in a peaceful way through dialogue and respect in international law.
They called for related parties to exercise restraints and resolve conflict through peaceful means in respect of international law. Vietnamese Head of Mission to the UNESCO and Francophone, Duong Van Quang, said the diplomatic note was significant: “The two United Nations specialized organizations rarely touch upon sensitive issues, especially territorial dispute. The diplomatic notes content was positive, expressing concern about mounting tension and called for peaceful dialogue in line with international law. This is what Vietnam wishes for.”
As known, in the Diplomatic Note, the UNESCO and the United Nation kept in the Memorandum of Vietnam about situation of the East Sea among some members of two organizations.
