Traditional musical instrument festival 2014 is taking place in Da Lat city, the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong from June 10-16.
The solo and concert performances are cultural and art activities in the framework of the National Tourism Year 2014.
The festival is being held by the by the Department of Performing Arts under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; the Vietnam Musicians’ Association; and the Vietnam Association of Stage Artists.
The festival is providing the artists with an opportunity to show their talent and exchange experience in preserving and promoting the essence of Vietnamese traditional music. It also enables performers, lecturers and students of different music forms to exchange and learn from each other in preserving and bring into full play the national musical quintessence./.
