Retiree revives iconic tire sandals in Hanoi

At 73, Pham Quang Xuan still makes sandals from old rubber car and airplane tires; the shoes were widely worn by Vietnamese soldiers during wars against French and US forces. Xuan is now living in a small house on Nguyen Bieu Street in Hanoi.
