Tourism enterprises need cheap and large planes

Tourism enterprises have long been complaining about the certain difficulties in opening tours to Phu Yen due to too dear but small-sized planes. However, there’s been a fairly optimistic piece of information for Phu Yen tourism sector when just recently Hochiminh city tourism association has issued an act to propose the department of culture-sports-tourism and Phu Yen tourism association to coordinate with tourism enterprises to commit to ensuring prices and quality of tourism services, for laying the foundation for negotiation with Vietjet Air to start the back-and-flights between HCM and Tuy Hoa city.

More and more passengers, particularly tourists, choosing to travel by plane.

Vietnam Airlines started exploiting the two routes of Tuy Hoa-HCMC and Tuy Hoa-Ha Noi pretty soon. However, due to low frequency, only small planes (65-seat ATR) are in use, which is not the optimum choice among passengers, particularly travelers. Furthermore, with too dear freight fares, instable flights, it has been causing numerous difficulties for tour agencies.Tourism enterprises have not once mentioned this and provincial leaders have also acknowledged this situation. Nonetheless, to solve this general mathematical question is not a piece of a cake.

To remove this urgent issue, in the cooperative contents between Phu Yen tourism associations and HCMC partner, one emerging issue is how to attract cheap airlines supplying large planes for the sake of both passengers in general and that of travelers in particular. Ms. Nguyen Thi Khanh, standing vice chairwomen of HCMC tourism association, lets known, “Lots of HCMC tourism enterprises are interested in exploiting new destinations in Phu Yen but too afraid of transportation, the journey over 500km-from HCMC to Tuy Hoa city takes at least 10 hours by coach with the current state of the national Avenue 1, and this undoubtedly causes obstacles in attracting tourists, therefore airtravel is still the optimum. Also according to Ms. Khanh, HCMC tourism association has raised this issue with the cheap Airlines-Vietjet Air, as related to opening flights to Tuy Hoa city. It does require the cooperation from Phu Yen Government and the provincial tourism association to lay the foundations of ensuring tourist sources”.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tam, chairman of Phu Yen tourism association, lets known, Phu Yen tourism association has debated with tourism enterprises as related to introducing services and pledges on quality-price ensuring for HCMC tourism association gain the required foundations to negotiate with Vietjet Air. With this information, the provincial tourism enterprises are so much excited, and without any hesitation, make commitments to ensure both quality and prices.

Hopefully with the increasing demand from passengers, with the majority being tourists, and all-sided impact, Tuy Hoa airport will soon welcome cheap but large planes, with good service quality.
