Project “Building mechanism and policy for some artists” opens

(Cinet) – The MOCST has had Document No.1469/BVHTTDL-NTBD sending to the PM to solve some contents for Project themed “Building a mechanism and policy for some artists“.

Accordingly, Decision of the PM relates to approve for Cultural Development Strategy up to 2020 shows that the MOCST should build Project ” Building a mechanism, policy for some artists” in 4 main contents including as follows: salary for artists; performing salary for artist…

After fulfilling Draft for the Project, the MOCST sent Document No.291/TTr-BVHTTDL for considering the Project. Since December, 2013, the Govermental Office had Document to some relevant agencies for the Draft.

The MOCST focused on studying and working with the Govermental Office to find out a solution for the Project as follows:

- Retirement system for some artists is not soloved by waiting an adjusting regulation of Insurance Law.

-Salary for some artists is not carried out now because Project on reforming a salary mechanism for some cadres and labourers is not fulfilled.

The MOCST proposed the PM for solving 3 contents including Decision on supplementing and adjusting Decision No.180/QĐ-TTg of the PM about performing arts in term of Information Culture. The PM entrusts the MOCST and Ministry of Home Affairs to build a salary policy to carry out; the MOCST hosts and associate with Ministry of Home Affairs to fulfill a regulation.
