Lang Co Bay Festival opens in Thua Thien-Hue

Lang Co-World Beautiful Bay Festival was opened at Lang Co Beach, Phu Loc District in the central province of Thua Thien-Hue on May 24.

Tens of thousands of local and foreign visitors came since early morning to see beach footballs, volleyballs, surfing, boat racing and model aircraft and ship performances.

The two-day festival is organized to mark five years since the World-Bays Club recognized Lang Co as the world most beautiful bay.

Lang Co Town has obtained significant socioeconomic achievements since 2009. Of these, tourist revenue increases 25-30 percent to receive an average of 95,000 visitors per year.

The festival takes place on May 24 and 25.
