Readers to the summer book fair 2014 (Photo by HM)



A movement to collect books for Women and the Family Bookshelf for the benefit of women living in remote regions has been launched at the summer book fair 2014.


The fair is being open to the public at the Vietnamese Women’s Museum at 36 Ly Thuong Kiet street in Hanoi from 8am to 9pm from April 16-20.


The Vietnamese Women’s Museum coordinated with the Women Publishing House and Kim Dong Publishing House to organize the event to promote Vietnam’s Book Day (April 21) and the World Book and Copyright Day (April 23).


The fair introduces 4,500 books, covering various topics, including politics, history, literature and economics, as well as topics related to foreign languages, sciences and housework tips.


At the fair, in addition to promoting the sale of books at prices between VND5,000 and VND35,000 per copy, sales discounts between 20 and 50 per cent will be offered for all titles./.
