Deputy Chairwoman of the People’s Council of Ho Chi Minh City Truong Thi Anh led city leaders visited and offered 200 gifts worth VND 150 million to poor fishers in Ly Son Island in Quang Ngai province on April 11.
The visit aims to learn about the economic, social development in Ly Son Island as well as exchange experiences between Ho Chi Minh City and Quang Ngai province.
Saigon giaiphong Newspaper supported 30 scholarships worth VND 30 million to poor students in Ly Son Islands, on this occasion.
