HCM CITY (VNS) — The national women’s football team has received a sponsor deal of VND10 billion (US$476,000) per year from the Bank of Investment and Development of Viet Nam (BIDV).
BIDV pledged to support the team from 2014-16.
The team left for one month of training in China on Friday. They will then fly to South Korea for another course, and will have a friendly match against the host national team.
These activities are in preparation for the finals of the Asian Women’s Football Cup in HCM City in May. — VNS
