Suoi Tien Theme Park opens giant kids playground

HCM CITY (VNS) — Suoi Tien Theme Park in HCM City’s District 9 has opened a 15,000-sq.m indoor playground with games and play stations for children and a food court and souvenir shops.

The Kingdom of Future Geniuses cost VND30 billion (US$1.4 million) and is one of eight new attractions on which the park has spent a total of VND200 billion ($9.7 million) and plans to open this year, Huynh Dong Tuan, Suoi Tien’s deputy general director, said.

Thirty sky-rail cable cars, a turboride, and an Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva Square with a 22m-high Buddha standing on a globe are among them, Tuan said. — VNS
