HA NOI (VNS) — Fossilised Ha Noi, an exhibition of sculptures by artist Vuong Van Thao, has opened at Casa Italia in the capital city.

The sculptures, dating from 2006, present an opportunity to everyone to experience a unique journey through the past, present and the future of the city.

The exhibition is being held by Casa Italia with the idea of preserving and conserving cultural values, especially the culture of Ha Noi’s Old Quarter.

Thao’s sculptures are being displayed on a permanent basis at Asian Art Spotlight in China. Some sculptures are being exhibited at the Modern Fine Arts Collection of SAM Singapore Art Museum and at the Viet Nam Fine Arts Museum.

The exhibition will run till March 22 at 18 Le Phung Hieu Street, Ha Noi. — VNS
