The provincial statistical sector from April 1 – 12 will conduct the mid-term population and housing survey of 2014.
The survey will be carried out in 162 urban residential areas and 614 rural hamlets and residential areas of 264 communes, wards, and district towns in the province.
The survey content includes information on household members, the number of births of women aged 15 – 49, deaths in households in the past five years, housing information, etc.
The survey aims at collecting data as a basis for assessing national target programs on population and housing, thereby evaluating the implementation of the socio-economic development plan for the 2011 – 2015 period.
The provincial statistical sector strives to complete the aggregation of the survey results and report to the General Statistics Office no later than May 10, 2014.
