Pepper sustainable production model sponsored by Roots of Peace

March 12, 2014 – PPC allowed the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DARD) to receive Roots of Peace’s US $10,000 sponsoring for pepper sustainable productions model applied in Tien Phong Commune (Tien Phuoc District) and Phu Thinh Town (Phu Ninh District)

This financial support is aimed at improving local farmers’ income thanks to developing a sustainable value chain of pepper. PPC requested DARD to cooperate with PCs of the mentioned districts and Roots of Peace in carrying out project activities in accordance to related regulations of receiving foreign non-governmental assistance. They were also asked to report to provincial related agencies on this project implementation.
