HA NOI (VNS) — Ha Noi city veterinary officials have been equipped with 200 new devices to daily test alkaline and acidic levels in food, the city’s Agriculture and Rural Development Department announced yesterday.

The devices, being installed at 300 out of the 900 markets in the area, will help the staff and local consumers to quickly test dubious food.

Additionally, as many as 29 animal quarantine stations in the city have recently been equipped with new machines to test food hygiene standards. — VNS
