Mang Lang church gaining greater popularity among tourists.

The tour lasts 3 to 5 days and nights for tourists from HCMCity to Tuy Hoa city by plane, before traveling by coach to visit Nhan mountain, Da river, Da Bia mountain, Vung Ro scenic spot, Da Dia reef, Mang Lang church (Phu Yen). Then, tourists van visit Ghenh Rang, Thi Nai lagoon, Quy Nhon city, Phuong Mai peninsula, the relics of Nuoc Man missionary and Lang Song minor institute (Binh Dinh province).

According to Vietravel, the stressing point in the tour is the ancient scenic spot of Mang Lang church, where the first national language book in Vietnamese is preserved. Mang Lang was built in 1890, currently belonging to An Thach commune, Tuy An district, over 35km from Tuy Hoa city to the North.

After Anre Phu Yen was honored Saint, Mang Lang church was built into one Saint room under one mountain-like place to the right of the main church. Anre Phu Yen was born in Hoi Phu hamlet, An Ninh commune, Tuy An district. Anre Phu Yen was the son of one religion-believer named Giaonna. His patronizing mother was Princess Ngoc Lien, wife of the border line mandarin named Nguyen Phuc Vinh. The unique book is currently and honorly placed in this relic room. Following the cool wine rooms under the mountain-like range, tourists can enjoy the particular artifacts which have close connection with the Route giving birth to the first Vietnamese language book.

Tien Chau estuary (An Ninh Tay commune, Tuy An), the homeland of Anre Phu Yen, is located to the border line military camp where Priest Dac Loc set the very first footstep on the missionary route to Vietnam with the document of teaching dogma taught in eight days (Cathechismus), translated into two languages of Latin and aboriginal national language. The book “eight days teaching doctrine” was printed in Rome, Italia in 1651. Over 363 years, the book is still intact, and this is exactly the first book printed in Vietnamese national language, one significant datum of the beginning period of Vietnamese language.

Like a “new taste” in the tour to “nau” land, tourists can stop at spots of Da Dia reef, O Loan lagoon, renowned O Loan Lagoon. Da Dia reef deserves the name of the world’s “unique” coastal reef, with the pentagonal stone piles closely arranged, inclining and facing the East Sea. Lunch is served with O Loan brackish water lagoon’s specialties of blood oysters, land shrimps, milk oysters, crabs, groupers…all fresh. It’s probably true for everyone to agree with the saying “whatever from O Loan is invincibly tasty”…
