LAM DONG (VNS) — A three-hour-long blaze destroyed an 800-square-metre dried flower shop in the Central Highland Lam Dong Province’s Da Lat City yesterday afternoon.

The authorities sent 100 firemen and 10 fire engines to put out the blaze. Initial reports said that the damage was estimated to be about VND2 billion, or US$94,800. Fortunately, no casualties were reported.

The cause of the blaze is yet to be ascertained. The local police are investigating the case. – VNS
