The expensed section will include four lanes for cars, trucks, buses and motorbikes, and two for rudimentary vehicles.

The bypass measures 12.02m in length with two lanes for rudimentary vehicles and two lanes for other vehicles. It is being constructed to be rated for an 80 kilometre per hour speed limit.

Addressing the ceremony, Deputy Minister Van The said that upon completion the projects are expected to prevent traffic jams, ensure traffic safety, contribute to socio-economic development in Tien Giang Province, and boost trade between Tien Giang and other provinces.
