Among them is the Dutch man, Mr. Marius Holdrinet, aged 67. He is married to a Vietnamese teacher and sees Phu Yen province as his second homeland. Loving his wife’s homeland, he has introduced Phu Yen to his family, relatives and friends around the world. Each year, his family brings Western guests to visit Phu Yen province. Mr. Marius said: “Tuy Hoa is a city but very peaceful, the air is fresh. My friends really relax and feel comfortable when visiting and resorting in this beautiful coastal city”.


The foreigners coming to Phu Yen province are impressed and love Phu Yen people and land. They always want to have a chance to come back because they are all welcomed as the relatives just returning from faraway places. Ms. Meave Kennedy, an Australian Master of Economist coming to Phu Yen province 3 times, said that she would come back whenever having a favorable opportunity. Ms. Shae McDonald from Australia with her English ​​boyfriend shared about their plan to hold the wedding party on Tuy Hoa beach. “At that time, our friends and relatives will gather here. The reason? With us, Tuy Hoa beach is beautiful and pristine with fresh and affordable seafood. But above all, the local people are extremely friendly and hospitable; therefore, we look forward to family and friends’ knowing more about Vietnam with beautiful and peaceful Phu Yen province”.


Moreover, every foreigner arriving in Phu Yen province will be a factor to effectively promote the image of Phu Yen land and people most. Philip Prendergast, a history teacher from New Zealand coming Phu Yen province totally 5 times since 2010, said: “Every time coming to Phu Yen province for volunteering, I take pictures of the people I met, the places I passed and the dishes I tasted, which helps me learn very lively and useful lessons on Vietnam in general and Phu Yen in particular for my students”.

Meave Kennedy said: “One of the factors motivating me to return is Phu Yen human-very sincere and very close”.
