(VOV) -Vietnam’s victory over rivals Lebanon, on February 25, puts them in the lead of group D in the second group match of the Junior Davis Cup 2014′s qualifying round in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
In the first single match, Nguyen Hoang Nhut was beaten by Michel Saadi 0-2.
Fortunately, Nhut’s teammate Dac Tien thrashed Tamime Ehalak 2-0, bringing the match to a 1-1 draw.
The doubles match ended with success after Tien and Hoang beat Carlos Chamas – Tamime Ehalak 2-0 (6-3, 6-4).
Vietnam will now play Iran, currently standing second in group B, in the knockout round on the evening of February 26.
