US simplifies visa application process

HA NOI (VNS) — The United States Embassy in Ha Noi and the Consulate General in HCM City have begun offering simpler services for non-immigrant visa applicants.

Visa applicants are instructed to visit www.ustraveldocs.com and print a personalized bank deposit slip, and then bring the deposit slip to a Viet Nam Post location to pay their visa application fee.

The U.S. Embassy and Consulate will continue to offer non-immigrant visa renewals without interviews for qualified applicants. Applications will also be accepted by mail through the Viet Nam Post.

Beginning April 1, renewal applications must be submitted only through Viet Nam Post. — VNS
