Traffic accident leaves two dead in Hung Yen

HUNG YEN (VNS) — Two people were killed and five others, including two children, were injured yesterday after a truck carrying sand collided with a coach transporting 16 persons.

The accident occurred along a stretch of National Highway 39A in northern Hung Yen Province.

The vehicles collided as they were traveling in opposite directions, causing the coach to plunge into a canal near the road.

Local police are investigating the accident. — VNS
