Mirage reached 200.000 units/2 years Thailand Mitsubishi Motors has just announced their highest-ever production of Mirage since its introduction in 2012 March, from then it was expeorted to 66 countries worldwide including Vietnam.

Chairman of Thailand Mitsubishi Motors, Mr Masahiko Ueki acknowledged that Mirage has received positive feedback from the global market with 122.309 units exported to overseas market, accounting for 61% of the total 200.000 units produced up to January 16th, 2014. This impressive figure has proven Mirage’s appeal to both domestic and global customers.

As stated by Mr Masahiko Ueki, Mirage was favored by customers because of its advantages of fuel consumption reduction, easy control features and usability. Besides, Mirage’s safety features were also rated 5-stars in collision test of ANCAP (The Australasian New Car Accessment Program).

Mitsubishi Mirage has received many prestigious awards and titles such as “2013 Car of the year” for hatchback with engine capacity under 1.2L in Thailand, “2012-2013 Car of the year” by Car Award Group, Inc (CAGI), Philippines and it was 1 of the only 2 non-hybrid models to take a spot of Forbes “12 Greenest Cars of 2014″.
