Country’s largest diary producer hosting bonus program for dairy farmers

The country’s largest dairy producer Vinamilk is hosting a program to raise money for dairy farmers for the New Year.

The company’s program named “Vinamilk Bonus Points for Dairy Farmers” aims to provide support for farmers selling Vinamilk dairy. Farmers will receive bonus points the more fresh milk they are able to produce for the company.

In 2013 Vinamilk provided over VND 18 billion for 4,724 dairy famers during the program. Each farm received average bonus of VND 3.8 million.

Lam Van Trung in Cu Chi District received the highest amount with total of VND 162.5 million.

Vinamilk currently contracts over 5,000 dairy farmers in the country and purchases 460 tons of fresh milk daily.
