In a bid to implement successfully the plan of preserving and promoting the cultural heritage of Cor ethnic people in the period of 2011 – 2020, recently, Tra Bong DPC has invested 2.7 billion VND to reconstruct the traditional stilt house of Cor ethnic people.
As designed, the house has an area of 105m2, consisting of a large room (public space), 2 bedrooms with wooden frames (16 cherry wood columns) and thatched roofs.
The resurrection of stilt house, traditionally used as a place for meetings and conducting business, aims at preserving and promoting the Cor people’s traditional culture and contribute to the local tourism development associated with longstanding culture space.
As planned, the stilt house will be completed and put into use on June 2015.
